Who is Tulsi Organics ?
We are a company of people who believe that each one of us can make a difference. Our vision is to consistently create Tulsi products of the highest quality in the most appealing flavor profiles. We currently offer Tulsi in a variety of forms and work with our customers to educate the market about its rich history, tradition and benefits. Our background comprises several years of experience as specialty tea purveyors working with small, marginal farmers of teas and herbs.
A portion of our proceeds are donated to 'Sikhya' - a free school for homeless, underpriveleged children in Northern India. Although, the school is funded by a familian non-profit trust and the brain child of Dr. Gurpreet Singh, a well known Industrialist in India, it is our small way to contribute and be part of its mission. It is our belief that all children deserve a safe place called home. We have chosen Tulsi, symbolic of nourishment, prosperity and home in India as our medium. With your purchase, you help strengthen a child's dream of education and one day, a home.
We work only with small-scale Tulsi growers that need assurety for their harvests. As such, we provide up-front guarantees to purchase their produce and help sell it through a market-educationdevelopment approach. As we grow, we envision our ability to help more small-scale and marginal farmers in this process.
Our company aspires to help strengthen the Organic Tulsi farming. Most Tulsi is still grown conventionally and the movement to Organics is recent. We hope to be among the few Tulsi companies that are in the forefront of this movement. Promoting Ancient Indian Herbs to the West Tulsi Organics promotes understanding of the ancient uses and benefits of traditional Indian herbs like Tulsi. Although, Tulsi is well known all over India, it is still not readily available in the west. We hope you choose to work with us and discover its taditional uses. |
